New Member of the Family

Hello Everyone,
Well we have a new addition to the family. A Dog! The vet thinks he is a Terrier Mix, but we are not really sure. His name is Oreo and he is about a year old, so he still has some puppy in him. He is so good with Emma. She pokes at him, sits on him, trys to use him as a stepping stool and he just lays there. We love watching her try to call him and to say his name. It is way too cute! We have only had him for a week and we have only heard him bark twice. Since he is still a puppy he likes to destroys things. Number one thing on the list - ornaments! Nothing like coming home from work and having to clean up broken ornaments all over the floor.

We are slowly getting ready for Christmas. Presents still need to be wrapped, food prepared, house cleaned....you know all the usual stuff. We are looking forward to seeing how Emma will react to opening presents and seeing them all under the tree.

Welcome to Our Blog

Hello everyone,

Well I decided the best way to keep folks up to date with our family would be a blogspot. This is all new to me, so hopefully this won't be to difficult for me to maintain. I plan on including pictures and stories and to update it often. I hope you all continue to come back to check out what is going on with us.

We had an enjoyable Thanksgiving this year. JoAnn went to see Mike, Melissa and Morgan; so it was just Jonathan, myself and Emma. Emma slept through dinner, so she had turkey after her nap. We had a nice visit with Jonathan's mom, Sherry, who came over for dessert and to spend some time with Emma.

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are now preparing for a joyous Christmas season; as we celebrate the birth of our risen Savior.
